The Avo Story
Our experienced field officers collect high quality root-rot resistant fruit from geo-coded trees, after careful sorting, viable seed is extracted and prepared for planting.
These seeds are germinated in nutrient-rich disease-free potting mixture and nurtured for several months.
Only healthy seedlings that reach the appropriate height and thickness are grafted with scions from high yielding mature trees.
Once ready, designated seedlings are uprooted and prepared for export in adherence to international phytosanitary regulations.
Within 5-7 days the seedlings are replanted in their new country.
In a few years, the young orchard starts bearing export quality fruit for the lucrative international market.
